Our print floor is now 100% union — and what that actually changes for you

Every imprint that leaves our shop now goes through union labor, start to finish. Here is what that means for lead times and quality.

Our print floor is now 100% union — and what that actually changes for you

The shop floor, fully organized

As of this summer, every press operator, screen tech, and packer on our production floor is a union employee. That wasn't a marketing decision — it was a recognition that the people running the equipment and hand-checking every order are the reason our defect rate stays low enough to promise a free e-proof and mean it.

What changes for your order

Practically, not much changes about how you order — the process is the same live stock counts, the same e-proof before anything runs. What changes is upstream: standardized training across every shift, consistent quality checks at handoff between stations, and a scheduling system that doesn't quietly push rush jobs ahead of the queue without your order actually being marked rush.

Why we're telling you

A lot of promotional print runs through subcontracted or overseas facilities with production standards that are hard to verify from a website. Ours doesn't, and now it's fully organized labor besides. If that matters to your own purchasing decisions — and for a lot of our municipal and union-shop customers, it does — it's now something you can ask us about directly and get a straight answer.
